Stick
A Stick is the small change of woodcutting. Trees drop 1 to 4 when felled (the 25 small trees in the demo areas drop only sticks), bushes 2 or 3, and tree stumps 2 when you dig them out. You will have plenty long before you need many.
They go into a handful of early buildings: 4 for the Sawhorse, 10 for a Firewood shed I (20 for shed II) and 12 for the Compost Pile. Every bronze tool takes 2, and so does a Wooden Sign for a grave, with 2 Boards.

Notes
- Twenty sticks make Firewood. At the Chopping Spot, 20 Sticks give 10 Firewood, the same as one Short Log. The recipe comes with Chopping (8 red) and needs Building mastery 2.
- Herm buys them, but a Stick is worth 1 copper.
- Studying one costs 1 Science and 1 Faith and gives only 5 red and 5 green.
