Spices

Spices raise the quality of a dish. At the Kitchen Table, one Spices turns a 1-star dish into a 2-star one: a Vegetable salad, a bowl of sauerkraut, a wine or a grape juice. The game has two items called Spices: the alchemy result, and one sold by town traders. The page covers both.

In the demo none of these upgrades can be unlocked, so Spices are only worth making for the mix itself: 2 green and 2 blue tech points and the Alchemist inspiration. The alchemy version has two green and two blue runes, which 2 Peat, 2 Ash, or a Blood with a Honey add up to at the Laboratory I.
