Story

A Story is a scroll of written material, the raw text for sermons and books. Every sermon written at the Writing Desk starts from one Story, and the desk is also where Stories are written in the first place: 3 Faith, 2 Clean Paper and 1 Ink. Stories come in three qualities; two of the lowest can be rewritten into one of the next.

Early on you collect Stories faster than you can use them. The Writing Desk needs Polished Bronze, and writing new Stories rather than spending them needs Books I on top. Until then the one thing to do with a Story is study it once at the Study Table, which costs 5 Science and gives 20 blue without using the Story up. The town Tavern sells them later, at all three qualities.
