Prayer for Old God
The Prayer for Old God is the sermon the story asks you to hold for the Old God once you give back his Red Eye. The quest Eye, Red Eye drops it for you as it begins, and is finished by holding it.
It is the most demanding sermon in the game: it needs 180 parishioners, both to start and for certain success. In return every parishioner brings 1 Faith and 50 copper, the highest base pay of any sermon, but a success adds nothing further.

Notes
- Parishioners are capped by your happiness, town quality and church quality, so all three have to reach 180 (see Happiness and Town Quality).
- It is not used up. Once held, it can be held again on later Wrath days for its Faith and money.
- You cannot write more. A Writing Desk recipe exists, but nothing in the game files unlocks it; the copy from the quest is all you need anyway.
