About

The Graveyard Keeper 2 Wiki is a fan-made guide to Graveyard Keeper 2, the medieval graveyard management game by Lazy Bear Games, published by tinyBuild. It is not an official site, and neither company is involved in it.

Where the information comes from

Nothing here is written from memory of playing. It is written from the game’s own files: its code, its balance tables, its text and dialogue, and the layout of its scenes. For questions like “what does this cost”, “what unlocks that” or “why did my sermon fail”, the code is usually a more exact source than play, because it is what the game actually runs.

The site has two layers:

  • Reference pages, such as item infoboxes, recipe tables, bench lists and the tech tree, are built straight from the game’s data, so every number in them is the one the game uses.
  • Written pages, such as the guides, the mechanics pages and the introductions on item and character pages, are written by hand after working out how each system runs. Each statement is traced back to the code, a data table or a line of game text. Where something follows from the files but has not been seen in play, the page marks it Unconfirmed.

The footer of every page shows which build of the game the data was taken from.

What it covers

For now the wiki describes the demo. Pages say plainly when something exists in the game files but cannot be reached in the demo, so you don’t go looking for an item you can’t get.

Graveyard Keeper 2 is released on 22 September 2026. Quests and characters that belong to the full game’s story are kept off the site until then, so browsing it before release won’t spoil the story. After release, everything will be rebuilt from the full game’s files and each “In the demo” statement checked again.

The written pages are in English. The game’s own names and descriptions exist in eleven more languages, and switching to them will come back in a later update of the site.

Who runs it

I run the wiki on my own, in my spare time, out of interest in the game. With one person and a game this size, some mistakes will get through. If you spot one, or something is missing, please get in touch.
