Ink
Ink goes into nearly everything written at the Writing Desk: every Story and sermon, written books, Science Kits, Music Notes and the Printing Press’s techbooks. You make 4 at the Writing Desk from one Ash, one Water and one Melted Fat, with the Writing Supplies technology and Book writing mastery 2.
Most recipes take just one, a few take 2 or 3. The town Alchemist sells it at every tier, 20 in stock.

Notes
- Melted Fat is the hard part. It is rendered only in the Distillation Cube, which burns Fuel, so making your own ink needs the cube and a Firewood shed as well as the desk. The town Apothecary sells both Melted Fat and Ash.
- Studying Ink costs 5 Science and gives 30 blue.
- Unconfirmed: the potion scrolls (healing, energy, growth, speed) list Ink in their recipes, but no workbench makes them in the current game files.
