Apothecary
Town shop, built on a house plot
The Apothecary is a town shop for alchemy and church supplies. It goes on a house plot and is one of the cheapest shops to put up: 4 Building Kit I, 3 Wooden Kit I and 1 Iron Kit I.
It is the only place in the game that sells alchemic powders, and no recipe makes them. Tier I stocks the nine one- and two-rune powders, and tier II adds the ten three-rune ones, so from tier II every powder is on sale, 20 of each. Powders cost 5 to 30 copper. The shop also carries candles and incense for the church, Alchemy Flasks I, Salt, Ash and Alcohol (from tier II).
For happiness it wants Fragrance, Alchemy Flasks, Salt and incense, and later Alcohol and candles. At every tier, selling each of these up to its weekly count fills the weekly cap exactly: 8, 16 and 25.

Where it can be built
On any free house plot, 7 in all. Plots are named here by the battle for that part of town.

Notes
- Both tier II orders are urgent. They ask for the same 20 Supply: Kitchen Utensils; one pays 40 happiness and the other 25. At every other shop, and at this shop’s other tiers, the lower-paying order is the cumulative one. This looks like a data slip and may change.
- The powders are the demo’s missing piece for alchemy. Several mixes need them, and in the demo nothing sells them.
