Simple Candle

A Simple Candle is a church candle: the first Candelabra I is built from one and 3 Bronze Details. At the Formulation Bench, 2 Beeswax and a Flax Thread make one, with an 80% chance of a second from the Alchemist perk. The recipe, the Candelabra and the bench itself all come with Church Lighting I (5 red, 10 green, 5 blue).

The town Apothecary sells 10 at every tier.

Notes

  • Candles are built in, not burned. One goes into the Candelabra when you build it; sermons do not use them up.
  • The better candelabras need better candles: the Pretty Candle for tier II and the Magnificent Candle for tier III.
  • Studying one costs 5 Science and gives 10 blue.
