Basic Prayer
The Basic Prayer is the simplest sermon, and in the demo the only one you will have. It can be held with as few as 4 parishioners and succeeds for certain with 8. Every parishioner brings 0.25 Faith and 5 copper; a successful sermon adds 0.3 Faith per parishioner and 10 copper for each point of graveyard quality. It has no buff or item reward.
A sermon is not used up when you hold it, so one Basic Prayer lasts the whole game: bring it every Wrath day. It has to be in your backpack, not in a chest, to show up at the lectern.

Notes
- With 10 parishioners it gives 6 Faith, and 3 even if it fails. In the demo town quality holds happiness at 10, so 10 is the most you will ever get.
- You cannot write another in the demo. Sermons are written at the Writing Desk from a Story, 3 Clean Paper and an Ink, and the demo cannot build that desk.
- Better copies only pay more money. The 2- and 3-star Basic Prayers give 15 and 20 copper per graveyard quality on success; the Faith and the thresholds are the same.
