Bronze Detail
A Bronze Detail is the part the demo’s story asks for more than anything else. One Bronze Ingot makes 6 on the Wooden Anvil, and the Engineer perk adds 3. No trader you can reach sells them.
Three things have to be in place before the anvil will make them:
- The technology Bronze Works (30 red). There are two technologies with that name; this is the second one, after Bronze Melting. The first, Bronze Works (5 red), only gives you the anvil.
- A Hardening Bucket (4 Wooden Planks, 8 Bronze Nails) built touching the Wooden Anvil. It comes with the same technology.
- Smithing mastery 2. The Rusty Hammer gives 1; the first Smithing node on the talent tree gives the other.

Notes
- How many the story takes: 4 for the church blockages, 5 for Jack’s boat, 3 for one more blockage later in the story, 2 for the Distillation Cube, and 2 for every Reinforced Plank. With the mercenaries paid (4 Reinforced Planks) that is 22 at least; without them, 38. The Tool Rack (4) and bronze tools (2 each) come on top.
- The boat takes them for good. Jack keeps all 5.
- Bronze tools are made from them on the same anvil (2 Details, 1 ingot and 2 Sticks each, Smithing 2). A bronze axe or pickaxe adds 2 Building mastery, a bronze hammer 2 Smithing, which later recipes need.
