Iron Anvil
The Iron Anvil is the second anvil. It forges everything the Wooden Anvil does, and adds the iron tier: Iron Details, Iron Nails, Advanced Details, Iron Kit I, the iron axe, pickaxe, shovel and hammer, and iron swords, pikes, bows and armor. It comes with Iron Smithing (50 red, right after Iron Forge) and costs 4 Pieces of stone and 2 Iron Ingots, so it waits for Furnace II. It stands in your yard.
Iron Smithing itself only gives you Bronze Gears and Iron Nails. Iron Details need Iron Works (75 red), and the iron tools and gear each have a technology of their own after that. An ingot makes 12 nails or 6 details.

Notes
- Bronze Gears are forged here, not on the Wooden Anvil, even though they are bronze. The Circular Saw needs 2 of them, so the saw waits for this anvil too.
- It replaces the Wooden Anvil, but Bronze Details, the tools and the Iron Kit still need a Hardening Bucket built against this anvil. The bucket you built for the wooden one does not carry over.
- Mastery: Bronze Gears Smithing 5, Iron Nails and Iron Details 6, iron tools and swords 6, Iron Kit I and Advanced Details 7, Reinforced Beams 8.
- This anvil opens up the dungeon. Most blockages under your house take 4 Iron Details and a Reinforced Beam, and both are forged here. A Reinforced Beam is an Oiled Beam plus an Iron Detail.
- Dismantling it returns half the materials: 2 Pieces of stone and 1 Iron Ingot.
