Battle Pike
The Battle Pike does 6 damage a thrust. Pikes are for your zombie squads only; you cannot fight with one yourself. A zombie fights when it holds a pike or a bow and wears armor, and the Impaler zombie talent adds 2 to its pike damage (see Combat). You make it at the Iron Anvil or the Steel Anvil from 4 Sticks, 2 Iron Details and an Iron Ingot, with Smithing mastery 7, after Iron Weapons (90 red, 10 blue).
The town Smithy sells one a week from its second tier, for 10 silver. The mercenaries’ pikemen carry it after their first upgrade.

Each item is studied once, on the Study Table. Studying does not use the item up. With the Scientist perk, a 30% chance of a Story.
Notes
- Its quality is 2, so a zombie holding it adds one more to squad power than with a Light Pike.
- Studying it costs 5 Science and gives 50 green and 10 blue.
