Steel Anvil
The Steel Anvil is the last anvil. It forges everything the Iron Anvil and the Wooden Anvil do, and adds the steel tier: Steel Details, Steel Screws, the steel axe, pickaxe, shovel and hammer, the steel sword, pike, bow and armor, and the Master Sword and Master Armor. It comes with Steel Smithing (120 red, 15 blue) and costs 4 Steel Ingots. It stands in your yard.
Both come late in the story, and both come from the Royal Foundry. No furnace can smelt steel. The only Steel Ingots are the ones the Bishop sells in conversation, at 1 silver each, once you have asked him about steel in Man of Steel. Steel Smithing sits behind 70 reputation with Jack, which you reach when you bring him 3 of those ingots. So the anvil costs 4 silver, on top of the 3 ingots for Jack.

Notes
- One ingot makes 4 Steel Details or 8 Steel Screws. Steel Details go into every steel tool and weapon. Engineering Details, the other steel part, are cast at Furnace II with a Casting Table, not forged here.
- Tools still need a Hardening Bucket built against this anvil. Every axe, pickaxe, shovel and hammer, in bronze, iron or steel, needs one, and so do Bronze Details, the three tool sets and Iron Kit I.
- Mastery: Steel Details and steel tools Smithing 10, Steel Screws, Knight’s Spear and Heavy Bow 11, Steel Sword, Steel Armor and Steel tools 12, Master Sword and Master Armor 15.
- Dismantling it returns 2 Steel Ingots, half its cost.
- Four late story items are forged here, each unlocked by its quest rather than a technology: the Prosthetic Hand, the Elegant Prosthetic Hand, the Small Printing Press and the Speech Writing Device. All of them need Engineering Details and Steel Screws.
