Heavy Bow
The Heavy Bow is the strongest weapon you can hold: 22 damage an arrow, enough to drop the commonest zombie in one shot. You make it at the Steel Anvil from a Steel Ingot, 10 Sticks and 8 Flax Thread, with Smithing mastery 11, after Steel Weapons (160 red, 10 blue). You fire it from a distance, 10 stamina an arrow against 20 for a sword swing, but it cannot replace the sword you need to start a battle (see Combat).

Each item is studied once, on the Study Table. Studying does not use the item up. With the Scientist perk, a 30% chance of a Story.
Notes
- The mercenaries carry it after their second upgrade.
- No trader sells it. Studying it costs 10 Science and gives 100 green and 20 blue.
