Wooden Anvil

The Wooden Anvil is the demo’s only anvil, and it makes all of the demo’s bronze parts. It costs one Short Log and one Stone and comes with the first Bronze Works (5 red), the root of the Metallurgy page, so it can be one of your first workbenches.

Notes

  • Bronze Details and the bronze tools need a Hardening Bucket built touching the anvil. Without it the anvil will not start them.
  • Smithing starts low. The Rusty Hammer from the graveyard chest gives 1, enough only for nails from scrap. Everything else needs the first Smithing node on the talent tree, and Reinforced Planks need a bronze hammer on top.
  • The Magic bell that the Head of the Guards asks for is also made here, from a Bronze Ingot and a Blood, once the story gives you the recipe (Smithing 3).
