Stone

Stone comes from breaking rocks with the pickaxe. How much a rock gives depends on its size, and so does the mastery it needs: the smallest rocks give 1 Stone and need Building 1, the largest give 4 and need Building 4. With only the rusty axe and pickaxe (Building 2) you can break the two smaller sizes. No trader in the demo sells Stone.

Its main use is the Piece of stone: at the Stonemason’s Workbench, 2 Stone and 4 Wood wedges make 4 pieces. A single Stone and a Short Log also build the Wooden Anvil.

Notes

  • Breaking rocks counts toward Rock Breaker, whose free first level (3 rocks) is half of your first Building talent point.
  • Stone is also a red alchemy ingredient (2 red runes), once you have studied it.
