Steel Armor
Steel Armor takes 3 off every hit you take in battle. You forge it at the Steel Anvil from 4 Steel Ingots, 4 Steel Details and 4 Fabric, with Smithing mastery 12, after Steel Equipment (160 red, 10 blue). The town Smithy sells one a week at its third tier, for 250 silver.
Herbert asks for 5 sets in Not in Shining Armor Yet, for 10 reputation and 3 Town Gratitude. The guards never wear them in battle.
