Iron Armor
Iron Armor takes 2 off every hit you take in battle. You forge it at the Iron Anvil or the Steel Anvil from 2 Iron Details, 4 Iron Ingots and 2 Fabric, with Smithing mastery 6, after Iron Equipment (80 red), which also gives the Iron Sword. The town Smithy sells one a week from its second tier, for 20 silver.

Each item is studied once, on the Study Table. Studying does not use the item up. With the Scientist perk, a 30% chance of a Story.
Notes
- The mercenaries wear it after their first upgrade. For 3 Iron Ingots the Merc Leader gives all four Iron Armor and iron weapons (see Combat).
- Studying it costs 5 Science and gives 50 red and 10 blue.
