Woodworking Workbench II

The Woodworking Workbench II does everything the Woodworking Workbench I does and adds the later woodwork: Oiled Beams, Wooden Joints, Carved Wood, Furniture Kit I, chisels, and the Advanced and Pro fishing rods. It comes with Woodworking II (40 red, 5 green, after Oiled wood) and costs 4 Oiled Planks and 2 Polished Bronze. It stands in your yard.

Its own recipes feed the second half of the game. Oiled Beams go into Reinforced Beams for the dungeon blockages and into several later buildings. Wooden Joints go into the third Assembly bench and the third church upgrade. Furniture Kit I goes into 12 of the 13 second-tier town buildings.

Notes

  • It replaces Workbench I. Every Workbench I recipe is here too.
  • Oiled Beams need the Circular Saw. The Wooden beams they are made from are only sawn there, and the recipe comes with the saw’s technology, not this bench’s.
  • Two racks unlock different recipes. A Tool Rack built against the bench is needed for the kits, Polished Bronze and the Amateur and Advanced rods. A Fine Tool Rack is needed for Wooden Joints, Carved Wood, the Iron Chisel and the Pro Rod. It comes with Tool Rack II (60 red, 10 green, 20 blue) and costs 6 Iron Details and 2 Wooden Planks.
  • Chisels are ingredients, not tools. The Bronze Chisel (4 from 2 Bronze Details and 4 Sticks) is used up in Carved Stone, and the Iron Chisel in Carved Wood and the marble work.
  • Mastery: Bronze Chisel Building 5, Oiled Beam 6, Iron Chisel 8, Wooden Joint 10, Carved Wood 12.
  • Dismantling it returns half the materials: 2 Oiled Planks and 1 Polished Bronze.
