The Advanced Rod is the third fishing rod, worth +4 Farming mastery on your toolbar. You make it at the Woodworking Workbench II from an Oiled Beam, 2 Advanced Details and 8 Flax Thread, with the Fishing III technology (120 green), Building mastery 9 and a Tool Rack.

The Fish Stand sells one at tiers II and III.

  • The Fish Stand’s tier II upgrade takes one, so you have to craft the first Advanced Rod before the stand can sell you another.
  • The steps between rods are 1, 2, 4 and 6 Farming mastery, from the Basic Rod and the Amateur Rod to this and the Pro Rod.
  • Studying it costs 3 Science and gives 30 green.
