Fish Stand
Town shop, built on a house plot
The Fish Stand is a town shop that buys fish and sells fishing gear. It goes on a house plot and costs 6 Building Kit I, 4 Wooden Kit I and 2 Iron Kit I.
It is the only trader that buys whole fish. Every fish has a fixed price here, so it always pays the fish’s full base price, however many you sell: from 10 copper for a Roach to 1 silver 92 for an Eel. Tier I takes ten kinds of fish; tier II adds eight more, such as Pike, Trout and Eel. See Fishing for where they bite.
It sells one rod per tier, at a fixed price: Amateur Rod for 1 silver, Advanced Rod for 5 silver, Pro Rod for 100 silver. It does not buy rods back.

Notes
- Bait is on its shelves but not for sale. The stand lists breadcrumb, insect and live bait with a stock, yet marks them as not for sale; it only buys them from you, for happiness.
- The Fish Stand can never fill its weekly happiness cap. Bait is all it gives happiness for: at most 2, 6 and 16 a week, against caps of 8, 16 and 25.
- The upgrades need rods: an Advanced Rod for tier II and a Pro Rod for tier III. The stand sells each one only from the tier it unlocks, so make them at a Woodworking Workbench II.
