Wooden beam
A Wooden beam is a sawn length of timber for heavier building. The Circular Saw cuts one Log into 2 beams (3 with the Carpenter perk); the recipe comes with the saw’s own Circular Saw technology and needs Building mastery 6.
It goes into a long list of buildings, from 2 for a Chest to 12 for Garden Storage II and 8 for the Lifting Crane, and into two recipes at the Woodworking Workbench II: 2 beams and Melted Fat make 2 Oiled Beams, and 2 beams and an Advanced Detail make a Wooden Joint. The Furniture Maker upgrade to tier II takes 4.
