Vine Press

The Vine Press presses fruit into juice: 6 Apples, Berries, Blueberries or Grapes and an Empty Bottle make one bottle of juice. The juice is what the Fermentation Barrel turns into cider and the Wine Barrel into wine. It comes with Cold Pressing (20 green, after Orchardry) and costs 6 Wooden Planks, 4 Wooden beams and 8 Iron Details. Like every drinks station it can only be built in the Vineyard’s cellar.

Notes

  • The technology is cheap, the press is not. Cold Pressing costs 20 green, but Wooden beams only come from the Circular Saw and Iron Details from the Iron Anvil. So the press waits for Jack’s reputation and the iron line.
  • Grape juice comes with Winemaking, not Cold Pressing, and needs Farming 10, 12 or 14 by the grapes’ star. Apple and berry juice need 3, blueberry 6.
  • Every bottle of juice needs an Empty Bottle, from the furnace with Glass Blowing: 1 Glass makes 2.
  • You press by hand, 1 or 2 energy a step. A zombie can work it too.
  • Dismantling it returns half the materials: 3 Wooden Planks, 2 Wooden beams and 4 Iron Details.
