The Smithy: Press is an extension for Smithy II that makes a Lens from 3 Sand and 2 Coal. It costs 2 Engineering Details, 4 Steel Details and 2 Wooden beams, and comes with the technology Lenses (175 red, 20 blue), which follows Smithy II. You build it from the factory’s build desk on the Smithy’s large extension spot, and it stands finished at once.

Notes

It fits on a Smithy I but does nothing there; the Lens recipe is on Smithy II only.
It shares the large spot with the Hammer, so one Smithy cannot make both Iron Kits I and Lenses.
Lenses can also be made by hand in the yard furnace with its Bellows: 8 Sand and 30 Fuel for 2.
Taking it down gives back everything.
