A Lens is ground glass. At the furnace with Bellows fitted, 8 Sand and 30 Fuel make 2 (3 with the Glassworker perk), with the Bellows technology (30 red) and Smithing mastery 5.

The Trademaster at the port asks for 3 in Crystal Clear, and that is what opens his trade. The Laboratory II takes 2 to build.

  • The Factory can make them from less sand. A Smithy II with the Press extension makes one from 3 Sand and 2 Coal, with the Lenses technology (175 red, 20 blue).
  • No trader sells them. Studying one costs 10 Science and gives 25 red and 10 blue.
