Conveyor Chest I
A Conveyor Chest I is a five-slot box that sits on a Factory line. Belts running into it drop their goods inside; belts running out of it take goods out, and for each outgoing side you can pick one item it should send, or leave it to send anything. You can also open it and put materials in by hand to feed the line, or take finished goods out. It costs 2 Bronze Gears, 4 Bronze Details and 2 Wooden Planks, and comes with the technology Wooden Kit I (100 red, 10 blue).
You place it from the factory’s build desk and build it with a hammer, which is Building work at mastery 4.
Build cost
The cost depends on where it is built.

Notes
- This is how you sort on a belt. A Splitter only alternates; a chest can send, say, iron one way and coal the other.
- Its contents are open to the factory’s zombies and to you, like any shared chest.
- The four-slot conveyor chest in the game’s files is the output box of Jack’s workshop in the prologue, not something you build.
- Conveyor Chest II holds 10.
