Preservative

Preservative is an alchemy result with three green runes. It is the base of the embalming fluids for corpses, made at the Formulation Bench: the Solution for Corpses comes with Embalming I, the Solution for Zombies with Reanimation Liquid, and the two Injections, for Corpses and for Zombies, with Embalming III. Until you have the bench and one of these, the Preservative is worth only the mix itself: 3 green tech points and progress toward the Alchemist inspiration.

At the Laboratory I it takes two ingredients: Flour or an Onion (two green) with one Water, Leaf or Berry (one green).

Notes

  • Three Waters would do, but Laboratory I has only two slots. A Pumpkin alone would also work, once Herm sells the seeds.
  • The town Alchemist sells 10 at every tier.
  • Studying it costs 10 Science and gives 20 red, 20 green and 10 blue.
