Injection for Zombies

An Injection for Zombies adds red skulls to a body and takes off as many white ones, 1, 2 or 3 of each by grade. You make it at the Formulation Bench from an Alcohol, a Preservative and a Comet’s Tail, with Anatomy mastery 8, after Embalming III (150 red, 150 blue) on the resurrection branch.

It goes into a pocket at the Embalming Table, like the Solution for Zombies, and a zombie’s red skulls must stay within its collar. A two-colour bottle takes 2 minutes, or 1 on the Embalming Table II.

Notes

  • For a zombie it does the same job as the Solution for Zombies. Zombies make no use of white skulls, so the extra effect changes nothing, while the injection costs a Comet’s Tail and more mastery.
  • On a corpse you mean to bury it is doubly bad: more red skulls and a lower ceiling.
  • At Anatomy 8 every bottle comes out grade III. The town Alchemist sells grade I from its first tier and one grade III a week (80 silver) at its third.
  • Studying one costs 5 to 15 Science by grade.
