Embalming Table I
An Embalming Table I is where you inject solutions into a corpse’s pockets to change its skulls: a Solution for Corpses adds white skulls for a better grave, a Solution for Zombies adds red skulls for a stronger zombie. It comes with Embalming I (50 red, 10 blue), which follows Autopsy, Advanced and also gives the recipe for the white solution. It costs 4 Oiled Planks, a Polished Bronze and 4 Glass, and stands in the morgue.
How it works
- Lay a corpse on it from over your head.
- Click an empty pocket slot in the table’s window and pick a solution from your backpack. The solution is used up at once.
- The table works by itself: 4 steps for a single-colour solution, 6 for an injection, 20 seconds a step. A single solution takes 80 seconds, and it never fails.
- The solution ends up in the body’s pocket, where its skulls count like any pocket item’s.
Notes
- A body holds at most 6 pocket items, organs and the certificate not counted. With 6 the table refuses more.
- For a zombie’s body the window shows its collar’s red-skull range, so you can see how far to go.
- The red solution and the two-colour injections are not in Embalming I. The red one comes with Reanimation Liquid, the injections with Embalming III.
- Every embalming counts toward the Embalmator inspiration.
- Building it is hammer work at Building mastery 2 and gives 2 red and 2 blue tech points. Embalming Table II works twice as fast.
