Flour

Flour is ground from Wheat at the Millstone: 4 Wheat make 5 Flour. The Millstone is built inside your house and comes with the Millstone technology (5 red, 10 green); grinding needs Farming mastery 2.

In the kitchen it has one job: 6 Flour and 2 Water make 6 Dough at the Kitchen Table, and Dough becomes Bread, Berry Pie and Croissants. It is also an alchemy ingredient with two green runes, enough on its own for Paint.

Notes

  • Until the town has a Baker, baking starts at the wheat bed. The Baker is the only trader that deals in Flour, and it needs the Market Stalls II technology (130 red, 30 green) before you can put the stall up. It then sells and buys Flour and Dough alike, 20 and 15 in stock at the first tier.
  • Studying it costs 2 Science and 1 Faith and gives 10 green.
