Berry Pie
A Berry Pie gives 30 energy and takes 3 off your insanity. Januarius sells 5 at a time, or you bake them yourself in the Kitchen Oven: 4 Dough, 6 Berries and 20 Fuel make 4 pies, or 6 with the Cook perk.
Baking one takes a few steps. The oven in your house is broken at the start; repairing it with 2 Pieces of stone gives you the recipe for free. The Dough comes from the Kitchen Table (also broken at first) once you have the Bread technology, and the Fuel from a Firewood shed in the house. Berries grow on bushes, 2 to 4 a bush, and there are 5 in the chest in your house. Starting a batch needs Farming mastery 4.

Each item is studied once, on the Study Table. Studying does not use the item up. With the Scientist perk, a 30% chance of a Story.
Notes
- Your first pie unlocks two more recipes. Finishing a Berry Pie gives the Pastries technology: Croissants and Muffins. In the demo only Croissants can be made, because Muffins need milk.
- The Heat Saver perk halves the Fuel, to 10 a batch.
- Studying one costs 2 Science and gives 25 green.
