Copper Nugget

A Copper Nugget comes from the copper vein beside your garden. Break it with a pickaxe (Smithing mastery 2) and it gives 3 nuggets, 4 with the Miner perk, then closes up again at once: the vein never runs out.

Its use is bronze. With the Bronze Forge technology, 3 Copper Nuggets, 1 Tin and 20 Fuel make 4 Bronze Ingots at the furnace, twice what 3 Bronze Scrap give, and neither the copper nor the tin costs money.

Notes

  • Whether you can walk up to the vein has not been checked in play. The game files place it by the garden, inside the demo’s area.
  • With the Miner or Jeweler perk the vein can also drop a Gem.
  • It is an alchemy ingredient with two red runes and one green.
  • Studying it costs 2 Science and gives 20 red and 10 blue.
