River fish fillet
A River fish fillet is cut from a river fish at the Kitchen Table: a Roach or a Gudgeon gives 1, a Crucian gives 2 (double both with the Fish Filleter perk). Cutting needs Farming mastery 3, and both recipes come with the River fish dishes technology. You cannot eat a fillet as it is; it goes into Fish nuggets and Baked fish.
Fillets are also happiness: Herm pays 0.4 happiness for each of the first 5 you sell him every week, 2 in all. At his first tier fillets are the only thing that earns happiness from him, and that is where his whole weekly allowance of 2 comes from.

Notes
- You can buy them. From his second tier Herm sells 20 fillets, so the fish dishes do not depend on fishing.
- Crucians are worth twice as much here. They are caught at the same two spots as Roach and Gudgeon, without bait.
- Nuggets stretch a fillet further. One fillet makes 3 Fish nuggets (75 energy) with a Seed oil; two fillets make 3 Baked fish (120 energy).
- Studying one costs 2 Science and gives 20 green.
