Marble Cross I
A Marble Cross I is the first marble headstone, worth 6 quality in a grave’s top slot. You make it at the Stonemason’s Workbench from 3 Polished Marble, with Building mastery 6 and a Fine Tool Rack against the bench. The recipe comes with Marble Gravestones I (200 red, 50 blue, after Stone Gravestones II), which also gives the Marble Fence I.
With the Marble Fence I below it a grave reaches 11. A grave never scores more than its body’s white skulls, and a body as it arrives carries at most 7. To use more than that, add white skulls with a Solution for Corpses or an Injection for Corpses before burial.

Notes
- The plain Tool Rack is not enough. Marble decorations need the Fine Tool Rack; stone ones need only the Tool Rack.
- Setting it on a grave needs Building mastery 3. Each swing, making or setting it, adds 0.2 insanity.
- Every one you make counts toward Undertaker. Studying one costs 30 Science and gives 30 blue.
