Kiln
The Kiln fires Bricks: 4 Clay and 20 Fuel make 6. Once loaded it works by itself. It comes with Brick Making (15 red, 5 green) and costs 4 Pieces of stone, 5 Clay and 5 Water; the Simple Chest in your yard starts with 100 Water.
The Kiln does not take Firewood. It burns Fuel, and Fuel only comes from a Firewood shed in the same area: 2 Firewood in the shed become 20 Fuel, one batch of Bricks. The shed comes with Bronze Melting, not with Brick Making, so the Kiln stands idle until you own both.

Notes
- Starting a batch needs Building mastery 3. The check is made when you load the Kiln, against your own mastery.
- A batch takes 2 minutes (8 steps of 15 seconds), about a quarter of an in-game day.
- Furnace I takes 12 Bricks, two batches.
