Starter Alchemist's Kit
The Starter Alchemist’s Kit is the first alchemy tool: kept on your toolbar it adds 1 to Anatomy mastery, the skill for alchemy, autopsy and embalming. You make it at the Jewelry Table from a Polished Bronze and 3 Glass, with Smithing mastery 3; the recipe comes with Alchemy, Distillation.
The better kits are the Alchemist’s Kit (+2) and the Good Alchemist’s kit (+4). No trader sells them.

Each item is studied once, on the Study Table. Studying does not use the item up. With the Scientist perk, a 30% chance of a Story.
Notes
- It adds to the surgical kits. Alchemist’s kits and surgical kits both raise Anatomy, and every tool on the toolbar counts, so this kit and the Butcher’s Kit together give +2.
- Studying it costs 30 Science and gives 20 blue.
