Green Scroll
A Green Scroll is what a repaired house in the Town gives you: 1 for the small house, 3 for a house, 10 for a large house and 25 for a block, 180 from all of them. You spend them with Linda at the tavern: her “New people” option takes scrolls and raises town quality by 1 for each, and town quality is the ceiling on how much happiness you can hold.
The houses are the only source; no recipe or trader makes or takes scrolls, and Linda is the only one who asks for them.

Notes
- Linda’s option opens with her reputation. At reputation 10 she takes 1 or 3 scrolls, at 20 and 30 a batch of 10 each, and at 40 any number, in lots of 1, 5 or 10. The first four offers can each be taken once.
- Linda only takes them on Lust day, apart from the first time: handing in her quest opens the offer on any day. After that, the “New people” option shows a day icon and cannot be picked on other days.
- Two storyline quests wait on town quality: Donkey has more to say at 50 and again at 100.
