Soldier’s stew gives 25 energy and the buff Smithing spirit II: +2 Smithing mastery for 7 minutes 30 seconds. You cook 2 in the Kitchen Oven from 4 Brown Mushrooms, a Jug of Milk and 20 Fuel, with Farming mastery 4.

The recipe comes with Soldier’s food, given by the guards at the forest bonfire in Yummies, along with Soldier’s ale. The Tavern sells 30 at tier III.
