Heavenly salmon
Heavenly salmon is one of the four legendary fish dishes, listed as 30 energy and 50 red tech points. The Kitchen Oven cooks one from a Celestial Salmon, a Seed oil and 25 Fuel (10 with the Heat Saver perk), 2 with the Cook II perk, at Farming mastery 8.
There is no technology to buy for it: catching your first Celestial Salmon gives you the recipe. The fish takes only Live Bait, there is only one at a time; another comes back only after a while (see Fishing).

Each item is studied once, on the Study Table. Studying does not use the item up. With the Scientist perk, a 30% chance of a Story.
Notes
- It gives more energy than it says. Because of the way the game applies an item with several effects, eating one gives the 50 tech points once but the energy twice: 60, not 30. This is read from the game’s code and has not been checked in play.
- No trader sells it. Studying it costs 20 Science and gives 40 green and 40 blue.
