Burial Certificate III

A Burial Certificate III is the top certificate, from burying or cremating any corpse of the third tier or above. Januarius buys it for 5 silver, five times a Burial Certificate I.

Third-tier corpses come once you choose Upgrade in Agatha’s dialogue and hand her 2 Furniture Kit I and 2 Building Kit I, and the tier rises once more with The House at the Crossroads. Every tier from there up still gives Certificate III.

Notes

  • Better corpses are not easier to bury well. Higher tiers carry more white skulls but also more red ones, so the certificate is worth more while the grave may not be (see Graveyard).
  • The first 5 sold each week give 1 happiness apiece, counted apart from Certificates I and II, within Januarius’s weekly cap.
