Church Builder counts the upgrades you build for the church: Improve the Church I, II and III, one count each. It is a Book writing inspiration, and even its first level costs 2 Faith.

Only the first upgrade can be built in the demo. Improve the Church I takes 8 Boards and 6 Pieces of stone; the second and third need materials the demo does not have and are never unlocked there. So the demo stops at the first level.
