Pottery Workshop
Town shop, built on a yard plot
The Pottery Workshop is a yard-plot building that raises town quality instead of bringing a trader: each of its three tiers adds 5. Tier I costs 12 Boards and 8 Bronze Nails, tier II 12 Wooden Planks and 8 Iron Details, tier III 8 Wooden beams and 8 Advanced Details.
It looks unfinished in the current game files. Its trader is a placeholder entry with no goods, tiers II and III have no names in the game’s text, and unlike the shops it gives no village reputation and does not count toward the Shop Owner inspiration.
Tiers
| Tier I | Tier II | Tier III | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Materials | |||
| Town quality | +5 | +5 | +5 |
Where it can be built
On any free yard plot, 4 in all. Plots are named here by the battle for that part of town.
| Area | Plots |
|---|---|
| Break Through to the Port | 1 |
| Eastern Districts Purge | 1 |
| Central Districts Purge: Part II | 2 |
Notes
- Unconfirmed: the shops can each be built only once, but nothing in the data limits the Pottery Workshop that way. If that holds in the full game, every free yard plot could take one, for 15 town quality each at tier III.
