Burial Certificate II

A Burial Certificate II comes from burying or cremating a second-tier corpse. Januarius buys it for 2 silver 50 copper, two and a half times a Burial Certificate I.

Second-tier corpses start arriving after Brawns and Brains, Agatha’s quest at 40 reputation, which raises the tier of every body the donkey and Agatha bring. While the sermon buff God of dead is on you, bodies come one tier higher, so first-tier deliveries become second-tier ones for as long as it lasts.

Notes

  • It has its own weekly happiness count. The first 5 Certificates II you sell each week give 1 happiness apiece, on top of the 5 Certificates I, as long as Januarius’s weekly happiness cap is not used up.
  • Burying pays the same as burning. The certificate comes either way; throwing the body in the river gives none.
