Apple Tree

An Apple Tree is planted in the Orchard from a single Apple Tree Seedling, on one of its eight spots. It takes about 25 minutes to grow, then you pick it by hand for 4 to 8 Apples and 1 red and 1 green tech point, and it bears again every 20 minutes after each picking. Picking needs Farming mastery 2. The tree comes with Orchardry (20 green), together with the Orchard itself.

Notes

  • The rusty shovel alone is not enough to pick it: it gives Farming 1, and the tree wants 2.
  • There are no wild apple trees, so the orchard is the only place apples grow; the town Vegetable Stand also sells them.
  • It never dies. You pick it with your hands; no axe or recipe cuts it down.
  • Apples go into cider and juice at the Fermentation Barrel.
