Casting Table
The Casting Table is an extension for the Furnace II in your yard. With it the furnace casts one Steel Ingot into 2 Engineering Details, which takes Smithing mastery 12. It costs 4 Polished Stone, 4 Steel Ingots and 2 Steel Details, and comes with the technology Steel Casting (150 red, 20 blue), which follows Steel Smithing. You build it from the yard’s build desk on the furnace’s casting-table spot, beside the furnace, and it stands finished at once.
Notes
- It can be built against a Furnace I but does nothing there: Engineering Details are made on the Furnace II only.
- Engineering Details go into the factory’s late machines, such as the Sewing machine, the Lathe and the Smithy: Press.
- Taking it down gives back everything.
