Berry Bush

A Berry Bush is planted in the Orchard from a single Bush Seedling, on one of its eight spots. It grows by itself for about 7 minutes, then you pick it by hand for 2 to 4 Berries, and it bears again every 20 minutes after each picking, for as long as you keep it. Picking needs Farming mastery 1, which a shovel on your toolbar gives, and every picking counts toward the Berry Seeker inspiration.

Notes

  • It unlocks only once the Orchard is built. Orchardry alone gives the Apple Tree, not the bushes.
  • The Master Forager talent adds 2 berries to every picking.
  • Wild berry bushes around your base work the same way, so you can pick berries long before you have an orchard.
  • Taking the young bush down gives back only 2 Sticks, not the seedling.
