The church has two confession spots, one on each side of the nave. You place it from the church’s build desk and build it with a hammer, which is Building work at mastery 2; finishing it gives 1 red and 1 blue tech point.

It is worth one more than a bench, for a few more planks and nails.
Nothing happens inside it. It only adds quality.
The better booths go on the same spots: Confession Booth II is worth 7 and III 15. Taking a booth I down gives back 3 planks and 4 nails.
