Simple iron part
No known way to obtain it. The game's data has no way to get it.
The Simple iron part is only used by recipes that no workbench offers, and nothing in the game files produces it.
Its one use matters: the workshop’s conveyor bench in chapter 3 is set to make Rusty Armor from 2 of these and 2 Iron Ingots, and with no Simple iron parts anywhere, that recipe cannot start. Unconfirmed: whether the workshop holds some that the extracted files do not show.
