Chocolate
Chocolate gives 50 energy and lowers insanity by 20 in one bite, the most any food does for insanity. You make it at the Kitchen Table II from 4 Cacao and 10 Fuel, with Farming mastery 10.
The recipe is not for sale in the technology tree: the Chocolate technology is handed to you when the quest Love Story begins. Cacao is sold only by the Trademaster at the port.
